Paint stop filter

The paint-stop glass fiber filter is made with long glass fibers specially intertwined with thermosetting synthetic resins according to a progressive density structure, more open on the air inlet side (green)
It comes in rolls of 20 m length
With good resistance to temperature (operating temperature 80 ° C) and great dust accumulation capacity, the “paint-stop” filter is used in the separation of the solid part of the overspray from the expulsion air of the painting booths

Fiberglass filters are the traditional solution for overspray abatement, they are applied in a horizontal position under the grill of the oven booths for body builders and in a vertical position in industrial painting as a wall filter

The paint stop filter rolls are the most common in the filtering sections of painting abatement plants

The average separation efficiency and duration of “paint-stop” glass fiber filters are influenced by the following parameters:

• Air velocity
• Distance between Dispenser and Filter
• Maximum permissible pressure drop
